London School of Theology – Evening Classes and Saturday Study Days
Evening classes - a series of eight Monday evenings each term (this year included ‘Making Sense of the Bible’)

Saturday Study Days – one Saturday a month for a year - however, each study day ‘stands-alone’.  (The series this year is ‘Doctrine’.

Nazarene Theological College – Modular Options
The college offers individual modules to students not able to register on a specific course.  These might be two-hour sessions once a week (for 11 weeks) or intensive sessions where an 11 week module is completed by studying full-time for one week.  Ideal for busy people who want to learn.

Regents Theological College – Open Learning
All the undergraduate residential modules taught by the college can be studies on a part-tome distance learning basis.  The programme consists of one or two days at the college approximately every 6-8 weeks for intensive teaching.  On top of this reading and home study notes are provided.  Opening learning students need to be able to study between 12-15 hours a week in order to meet deadlines.

St Paul’s Theological Centre
“A space for Christian learning and growth based in Holy Trinity Brompton, London” (home of the Alpha Course).  St Paul’s Theological Centre run three courses designed for lay people in secular employment.  The courses are, “School of Theology”, “Missional Leadership” and “Discovering the God of the Bible”.  The courses vary in duration and take place either on Saturday mornings or Mondays (during the day).

Westminster Theological Centre
If you are unable to commit to an assessed course but would like to receive degree-level teaching WTC provides a great opportunity – the chance to sit-in on lectures for a whole module (one evening a week for eight weeks) and listen.  Subjects covered include:- Old and New Testaments, Church History, Doctrine, Spirituality, Missiology and Ethics.

What Every Volunteer Youth Worker Should Know
A locally delivered, high practical course, comprising of 9 two-hour sessions covering subjects such as ‘Understanding youth work and ministry”, “Understanding Young People”, “Working with Groups”, “Developing Outreach” and “Developing Spirituality”.  This training course is designed for “busy ‘extra-timers’ who need to know the basics – and fast!”
