Description

An academic yet accessible response to ten tough questions.

Review

If we want to engage young people with biblical truth we need to know why we should trust the Bible. This means we need to be able to explain why we think the Bible is credible and should be taken seriously. I believe this book can help prepare you to do this.

Amy Orr-Ewing is passionate about the Bible and this passion has motivated her to find robust and credible answers to some of the most commonly asked questions. For example, “Isn’t it all a matter of interpretation?”, “What about the canon?”, “Isn’t the Bible sexist?” and “What about all the war?”.

This may be a relatively short book (128 pages) written in an ‘easy-to-read’ style, but that does not mean it lacks depth or academic rigour. The author draws on a wide range of material and certainly goes deeper into the issues at hand than your “average” youth group member would go. However, I’m sure that reading a book like this will help you wrestle with the issues at hand and equip you to respond to some of the difficult questions that young people may ask.
