If you want to help young people ‘explore the message behind the media’ this is an extremely good starting place. The content isn’t specifically designed for youth groups; however, many of the study guides, with their concise summary, background and discussion questions, provide an excellent foundation on which to build a session for young people.
The homepage explains that, “As part of Damaris, there is a distinctively Christian angle on all this material, but CultureWatch is for people of all faiths and people of no faith at all who want to explore the message behind the media.” This means that although Christian ideas are expressed throughout, you may wish there were more references made to specific Bible passages.
