Description
An accessible book that guides us through the multi-faith maze.
This short, easy-to-read, book provides an excellent introduction to this highly relevant topic. It’s suitable for both Christians and non-Christians and is an ideal resource for those who are considering this subject for themselves and those who are seeking to help others understand the multi-faith maze.
In the opening chapters Michael Green explores some of the most frequently asked questions on this subject before turning his focus to the life and ministry of Jesus. He refuses to ask the question, “What makes Christianity so special?” instead he ask the much more appropriate and crucial question, “What makes Jesus so special?” The main thrust of the book is then to explain the key differences between Jesus and the ‘great teachers’ of the world’s most popular religions.
He effectively draws the book to a close by exploring some more questions. For example, “How should Christians behave towards those of other faiths?”, “How should Christians regard other religions?” and “What about those who have never heard of Jesus?” The final chapter then challenges the reader to consider how what’s been read needs to affect their own life.
Chapter 1 - "It doesn't matter what you believe as long as you are sincere."
